Below is a second possibility for the NYC in Pictures guide book. Each page of the book would depict the east or west side of a street going from one major cross town street to an other. For example, illustrated below is the south side of St Marks Place from Avenue A to Broadway. The facing page would have the north side of the street. To cover the main cross town streets and Avenues, it is estimated that the guide book would be between 190 and 400 pages, depending on the size of each image and the size of each page. The market for this book is believed to be very large. Besides sales to tourists and anyone interested in New York, the book would sell very well to real estate brokers, insurance companies, banks, city planners, architects, art book stores, and a wide variety of other buyers. Nothing like it exists and because of the high cost of initial production, it is unlikely that there will be much competition in the future. The photographs can be merged together to form a panorama view of the street. The work title of the proposed book "NYC IN Pictures" is descriptive, but other titles may be more effective to market the book. The photographs have already been shot. As such, the book, including text, can be ready for printing within 40 days.
